The Green House Cottages of Northwest Arkansas

I visited a friend in rehab (PT) here. She received excellent care and attentive service.

I can't say enough good things about this facility. My mother is a resident at Green House cottages. She fell and broke her arm. After a negative visit to the ER, I was not in a good place thinking my Mom would not get over this fall. BUT, after getting her back to the GHCNWA and seeing everyone spring into action and tending to hers and my needs, I was able to leave her knowing she was well taken care of. After meeting with the Head of nursing and other staff members my family and I are able to rest knowing she is in the best capable hands. My mom spent 2 or 3 weeks there. The care was topnotch. The staff went above and beyond. The physical therapists are always busy with someone. They have a huge kitchen and plenty of room for the residents to get together. The rooms are nice and plenty big. I would definitely send anyone there.

To avoid retribution, I cannot put exact details as my family member is there currently. If you complain about conditions, they will "punish" your loved one with less attention. There are people there who are left unclean and unattended to for hours and days. It is nearly impossible to have a Dr consult. They make every effort to stretch out your loved one's stay to milk as much money as possible. This place is a true nightmare of bureaucracy and general neglect. DO NOT expect physical therapy if that is what your person is there for. I believe that my person will leave there in worse shape than they arrived. If this is your only option, contact your case worker and beg for help.

A Place of Peace and Exceptional Care The Greenhouse Cottages of NWA have been a true blessing for our family. My son is a resident there, and I cannot say enough good things about the care he receives. Every single staff member is amazing at what they do — kind, compassionate, and incredibly dedicated. They treat my son with such respect and patience, and it gives me so much peace knowing he is in the best hands possible. The environment is warm and home-like, not institutional, which makes all the difference. Each cottage feels personal and comforting, and the care feels like it’s coming from family. I’m also constantly impressed by the food — it’s not just good, it’s incredible! Real meals cooked right in the cottages, served with love. As a mother, placing my son in a nursing home was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make, but I can honestly say I wouldn’t want him anywhere else. The Greenhouse Cottages of NWA are a shining example of what true care should look like. I’m forever grateful.
