I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel people deserve to know what they’re getting into. As an older woman, I believe our seniors should be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect. Sadly, that has not been my experience with this community. The care here is deeply disappointing. It often feels like the residents are treated as an afterthought instead of people who deserve compassion and proper attention. There were times when I felt concerns were ignored, and it seemed like no one truly cared about the well-being of the people living here. Another thing that stood out to me is how many of the positive reviews seem like they could be written by employees or people connected to the facility. Whether that’s true or not, it certainly doesn’t reflect the experience I had. I would encourage families to visit more than once, ask lots of questions, and pay close attention to how residents are treated before making such an important decision. Based on what I experienced, I cannot recommend this community. In my opinion, major changes are needed before families can feel confident leaving their loved ones here.

Whether it's Sonny touring the community, Antoinette the Health & Wellness Director or Shantill greeting you in the front lobby, Lorenzo and his team take ownership and pride in the role each of them have here and it shows!

My mother really likes it at The Goldton at Southaven. She has told me numerous times that the staff is so nice to her. The food is great and they have numerous activities for the residents to participate in. Also the rooms are very spacious.

We were blessed in finding The Goldton in Southaven when searching for a place for my brother. The staff was welcoming, understanding and accommodating. He has been living there for over a year is happy with the experience. The communications with me have been excellent. I am comforted knowing that is his good care.
