The Courtyard at Coeur D'Alene

There is a reason this place seems very vacant. When I came in to tour this place I had left with a bad feeling, but this place was my only option since I needed a place for my loved one asap. First few days went well until late at night I got a call from the Kootenai Health ER asking why my loved one was in the ER. I told them well I had no idea they were supposed to be at Courtyard, so that whole night I was panicked and worried since Courtyard was not answering the phone. My loved one went back to Courtyard the next day and a week or so goes by and I get another call from the ER asking why my loved one was there. I told them I had no idea they should be at courtyard. Later I found out Courtyard sent him to the ER 5 hours before I got that call and I had no clue. This place sucks at communicating. The only good things I can say is they were very helpful when I needed to move stuff out since my loved one needed to go to a Nursing Facility and they didnt make me pay for the times my loved one wasn't there.

if i could give a zero i would , the care staff in certain houses are great while others shouldn’t been working there as you can tell it’s just for a check rather then taking care of someone’s health & wellbeing. this place is so run down and dirty .. the dishwasher has to be ran several times and has mold on the walls and base of the dishwasher, there’s mold on the walls , floors and the shower drains are plugged up! the residents complain about the meals because it’s the same thing getting served every week. i could go on but that should be enough for someone to turn away from taking there elderly family member here!!!! there’s residents that live here that don’t even wanna be here .. and that says a lot

This is a very pleasant, well designed facility. The rooms are all studio sized but were clean, well designed and well lit. The grounds are well laid out with a center courtyard with walking paths. Their room and services rates were very reasonable. The residents seemed happy and occupied. Overall I was quite impressed.
