The Commons at Brightmore

My mother-in-law has been a resident for over a year. The staff is really wonderful with all her needs. They are also very communicative with us about her care.

Though it took my husband quite some time to adjust, the director and staff have been very helpful and caring with him. I enjoy the relationships I've developed with the director and staff and feel comfortable discussing his care and needs with them.

Choosing a senior living community is one of the biggest decisions a family can make, and The Commons at Brightmore makes that decision much easier. If you are looking for a facility for the first time and haven't walked the journey of putting a loved one into assisted living, they know every step and will walk alongside you with compassion and clarity. If this a a transition in level of care, again, the staff will provide information that allows you to make an informed decision. I was particularly impressed with Kelly Paxton, Administrator, who took the time to explain what The Commons offers and has a warm and welcoming personality, making us feel comfortable instantly. After meeting other staff members, I was amazed at the attention caregivers, CNAs, and Med-techs were giving each resident--it seemed as though the residents were being loved as part of a family! I'm excited to have my mom become a part of this unique and charming community. They are not just providing care--they are building meaningful relationships! Five stars without hesitation. This facility is the best in Wilmington and surrounding areas. The staff and management team are always available and promptly address questions or concerns. They are on call 24/7. You can tell the residents are well taken care of by their appearances and the environment is very home like and welcoming.
