It's a nice facility. The cafeteria staff was very kind and the apartments are nice. They could not have been worse to my mom. So many bad things happened. If your loved one has ANY cognitive issues, don't choose the Abbey. Eagle's trace is much better. It's like a family there. Brookdale down the street is great for assisted living or memory care. But please don't choose The Abbey.

I recently toured The Abbey with my mother and had such a great experience—it’s definitely at the top of my list! Sahar was amazing throughout the whole visit. She was warm, welcoming, and super patient with all my questions. She took the time to show me around and explain everything in detail, which really made me feel comfortable. The entire place has such a cozy, homey vibe. It’s clear the staff genuinely care about the residents—they were so friendly, and I could see real connections between them and the people who live there. The rooms were spacious and bright, and the common areas felt inviting, like a place you’d actually want to hang out. What stood out most was how much effort they put into creating a community, not just a living space. I left feeling really good about the idea of choosing The Abbey. If you're looking for a senior living option, I’d recommend checking it out and asking for Sahar—she’s the best!

As a mental health professional who often works with aging clients and families considering safe and supportive options for their loved ones, I’ve had the pleasure of recommending The Abbey time and time again. This community stands out as one of the warmest, most affordable senior living options I’ve encountered. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that this isn’t just a place for seniors to live—it’s a place for them to thrive. The Abbey goes above and beyond to create an environment of genuine care and respect. Whether it’s the attentive concierge, the friendly housekeeping team, or the skilled caregivers in assisted living, every interaction feels personal and heartfelt. My clients have mentioned Sahar as a standout because she is accommodating to clients who want either Independent and Assisted living. I also appreciate the patience she has when answering my questions. Families I’ve referred here consistently tell me how much they appreciate the sense of community, safety, and the overall peace of mind they feel knowing their loved ones are in great hands. The Abbey provides this exceptional level of care without an exorbitant price tag, making it an excellent choice for families seeking high-quality senior living on a budget. For my clients, it’s a place that balances affordability with the warmth and attention their aging parents deserve. I’ll continue to recommend The Abbey because I’ve seen firsthand how much of a difference it makes for seniors and their families. If you’re looking for a safe, caring, and well-run community for your loved ones, The Abbey is a choice i and my clients can feel confident about.

We first met Sahar Hussain, Sales and Marketing Director at the Abbey, while looking for a place for my 85-year-old in-laws. She was very helpful in showing them around the place and explaining all of the benefits of living at The Abbey. She worked with us to find the perfect place within our budget and also provided us with helpful contacts to assist with the move. The staff and residents were so welcoming before and after they moved in. Danielle and the staff helped with our questions and were quick to respond to our requests. The dining area is the social center of the Abbey, where you meet and enjoy the company of new friends and neighbors while feasting on the great cuisine prepared by Chef Roger and his staff. The food is really fresh and delicious, with a good variety and portions. I look forward to eating there when I visit. Most importantly, our family is happy there. They were excited to move in and have been excited to meet everyone and become residents at this wonderful facility. It is a great comfort knowing they are in a place where they can enjoy their life to the fullest in a safe and comfortable environment.

My mother initially did not want to move from her Independent Living facility in Illinois to Assisted Living in Texas. But it was time. Staff at The Abbey worked with mom to make her feel comfortable and welcome. They helped her get involved in activities and adjust to her new environment. Some of the assistants even took extra care to make her feel special. The accommodations at The Abbey are of high quality, and the staff members are approachable at all levels. They promptly addressed any concerns, and we were satisfied with their solutions. The Abbey enabled my mother to maintain her independence while providing assistance when needed. This was a win-win for all. I'm glad I selected The Abbey as my mother's new residence in Texas.
