I’ve been a resident of Tarina for more than 3 1/2 years, and I would like to share all that living here has meant to me. Upon arrival I was overcome with depression, fear. I was the happiest being alone in my room, but with the encouragement from the care staff, I started to venture out. I made friends and began to participate in all the activities. Within months I was myself again. I really like to be creative so luckily our Activities Director Lisa provided us with so many options that I kept busy all the time. Today I am the “President of the Resident Council”, a role that I take very seriously, and is important with facilities such as this. These meetings give residents a voice where they can be heard. Besides the care staff, who help us all with our “activities of daily living” and are key to life here at Tarina, there are 3 people I’m sure you will get to know Gretchen, Executive Director, Lisa, Activities Director, and last but definitely not least is Nelly, Office Director. She is the backbone of this facility. If you decide to come here and look around I would be more than happy to answer you any questions you may have. Thank you so much for your time. Sincerely

Our brother was a resident at Tarina. It was a major blessing for him and for us. He has had mobility problems and was on dialysis. In short, he needed help. He got all the help he needed and a lot more. He got a HOME, he got good friends, he received great medical staff support and he got good meals. When the day came that his body could not make it anymore, he “went home to Tarina” (from the hospital) for loving hospice assistance. We adore Executive Director Gretchen and the entire staff for what they have done for our family!
Response from the owner
Mark, Thank you for sharing such a beautiful tribute to your brother and your family's experience. It was truly an honor to care for him and to be part of his journey. Knowing that Tarina felt like home to him is the greatest compliment we could receive. We will be sure to share your kind words with Gretchen and our entire team. Thank you for trusting us with his care and for allowing us to be a part of your family's story.
