Our family has had exceptional service as we recently moved our loved one in. Mark, Yvonne and Barbara and all staff members consistently greet us with welcoming smiles and with great patience. Our inquiries and requests are responded to in a timely manner. The staff seem to be engaged in either an activity or fulfilling their duties. We are in the early part of this new phase in our lives and understand that no facility will be like being at home with 24 hour care. It is very peaceful and the patio area offers lovely flowers which my L.O. enjoys. The meals and dining are presented in a clean and orderly manner and the portions are generous and look appetizing. Room sizes are small and are best suited for one person. Lay out of closets are not conducive for two adults that need lower access. Overall recommend facility be considered when researching in the Ocala area.

Tried to get ahold of my dad and they couldn’t care less, sounded like they were annoyed. Just trash how they work the phones, and I can only imagine how they’re treating my father, yikes.

I placed my husband in Best care facility on September 1 by September 10 I realize I had made a major mistake. I thought I did my homework and I went on Best Care reviews, there wasn’t many reviews. I was told the beginning of the year they changed their name from Superior Residents to Best care. Once I read ALL THE NEGATIVE reviews, I knew then I was moving him ASAP. The reviews tell you everything you need to know to run. Mark the director and his assistant Barbara are just collecting money from families. The workers are attached to their phone the place is nasty and not to mentioned 1 worker to 20 patients. I visited my husband daily because I knew he was being neglected walking around with no shoes on his feet. When I asked Carmen where are his shoes she got mad and told Mark. He has dementia but if taken the time to help him put on one of 3 pairs of shoes was sad. I knew I was taking my husband home because daily I had to bathe him and bring him a nutritional meal. In one week I saw them serve the patients twice 1 hotdog and mixed cold vegetables. This place isn’t fit for someone nonverbal with dementia because they can’t tell how horrible this place really is. I didn’t see family coming daily but I didn’t neglect my husband at home and wasn’t gonna allow them to do it either. Thank God my husband is in a much better place and I don’t have to visit daily to bathe or feed him. Please families go to Superior Resident before you put a love one here. You don’t just change your name and keep the same unqualified, unprofessional people.

Bestcare, has the literal best care there is! They have the best team there is when it comes to caregiving. There very communicative and show that they care about you and your families needs. I’ve been with best care for 1 year and 4 months now and not only have they taken care of theirs residents but they help their families as well. Yesterday when I was leaving Bestcare my tire ended up being flat, I was in shambles because I knew I wasn’t gonna be able to get anyone to come out there to help me so I went inside to figure things out, that’s when I was questioned if I was okay, by Mark the lead director at Bestcare, I then explained to him my problem and not only did he fix my tire, but he told me I could wait inside while he did it! They're the absolute best and I wouldn’t want any other team on my side. GO BESTCARE!!😆😆

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing this letter to express my deep appreciation for the exceptional care my mother received during her time in Unit 2 of Best Care Cala Hills . As new leadership takes the helm, I hope this note conveys just how special this place and its people are. From the very beginning, we were met with kindness, patience, and professionalism. In what is often a challenging and emotional time for families, the staff made all the difference. Danielle, Shana, Cheyanne, and Brandy – to name just a few – brought compassion, consistency, and genuine warmth to my mother’s daily care. They not only treated her with dignity and love, but also became a source of comfort and reassurance for our family. Their dedication goes far beyond duty – it is clear this work is deeply personal to them. They not only made my mom feel at home but made us feel like part of the facility’s family. We also need to recognize Tommy in the kitchen who brightened her days till the very last one. Behind the scenes, Mark and Barbara were invaluable in helping us navigate the many details and decisions we needed guidance with .Their support and guidance made what could have been an overwhelming process feel manageable and humane. They took the time to understand our concerns and always treated our family with empathy and respect. I want the new owners to know that what exists at this facility is rare. It’s not just a well-run building – it’s a community rooted in heart, trust, and care. The staff here are more than employees; they are caregivers in the truest sense of the word. They are the reason this place feels like home, even during life’s most difficult transitions. Please, as you step into leadership, I encourage you to recognize and retain the incredible team that makes this place so special. Their impact on families like mine is profound and lasting. With sincere gratitude, Pamela Cropley
