Sunshine Residential Care

I have had my wife in the Sunshine Residential care facility for six months. I thank God that I found this facility. She gets the kind of loving care that is not available in the larger institutions. She gets hand fed, and bathed on a regular schedule and is always clean and fresh smelling. I have visited some "nursing homes " that would turn your stomach! This is a home that you want your loved one to be in, if the situation arises. I know because I visit my wife every day and at odd hours. I have never found her to be neglected in any way. As far as the dispute with the caregiver goes, I can only say that when I arrived for my visit on the Wednesday in question, the owners were in shock because another party had informed them that the caregiver wasn't coming back. This was verified, when the owner check the caregivers closet and found it empty, along with her personal toiletries, and food from the freezer. They were devastated!

I have a very close friend here and she has told me it’s the most comfortable, cleanest, most caring facility she’s been in. She has cared for many people over the years and has seen the so called factories that just leave you in the hall not doing anything. This is not one of those facilities.....Well done sunshine residential care, well done

My Mother Doris Heinze has been at Sunshine Residential Care for more than 6 years. The home has been a safe, comfortable, immaculately clean and caring place for my Mom to live. She is very content there and has a beautiful room she enjoys very much. The peace of mind we have knowing she is in such good care is immeasurable. I would highly recommend this assisted living residence to anyone with an elderly parent in need of a home.

After living for a few years in a couple of the larger assisted living and memory care facilities in the area, my Mom really began to decline. After a hospital and rehab stay over a year ago, her doctor mentioned a "Personal Care Home" as an alternative to the larger facilities she had been living in. I began to research personal care homes near me. We were so blessed to have found Sunshine Residential Care in Dacula! My Mom has been there now for over a year, and she is both happy and most of all healthy! She no longer suffers from constant UTIs because the hygiene care there is so wonderful. Thank you Florica and Jon for the wonderful home you have provided for my Mom. -Lisa D.
