Went here for my clinical. This place was exactly what you’d imagine a burned-out facility would run as. If you can, I’d recommend sending your loved one somewhere else. The CNAs get mistreated by the nurses, and the nurses don’t pick up their weight and leave their keys on the med carts. One nurse left someone with a blown ostomy bag for 15 with the aides, only for the aides to end up cleaning it up and the nurse just asking about it later. This place made me realize what kind of nurse I would never want to be, let alone a CNA.

I had my clinicals for my CNA class at sunrise view skilled rehab and it was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve already been working in a facility for 4 years so I know how things are supposed to be ran. The staff was un-welcoming, rude, and disrespectful. Our clinicals were supposed to be a chance to learn hands on and our whole class felt completely un wanted and on top of that the cnas were talking trash about the class loud enough for all of us to here. Wouldn’t recommend doing clinicals here or even applying for a job. Do better, be better and be freaking kind.

Our mom has been a resident here at Sunrise View for over ten years. The caring, efficient staff is always there for Mom and immediately updates us on any concerns or changes in her well-being. My brother and I have lunch with Mom every week and are always treated like family while we are there. The food is always good...a salad bar with a wide variety, from fresh greens to jello and fruit, and always two choices for lunch entrees with some of the best homemade soups ever! Sunrise View Villa is an excellent choice for your loved ones.
