Our whole family was so please with the wonderful care my husband received while he was at Sunrise. The facility is lovely, the care was outstanding, and his needs were met graciously by a very caring, skillful and devoted staff. The staff was very attentive and treated him with dignity. Everyone that we came into contact with at Sunrise was very pleasant and willing to do anything they could to help us. We were all pleasantly surprised at the level of care he received. My husband was very ill and required a lot of care which he received from a very capable and willing staff. Unfortunately, his stay at Sunrise was shorter than we anticipated as he has passed on from his illness. The staff was very kind to him and to all of us as his final days were approaching. We couldn't ask for better care or a more loving environment. Thank you, Sunrise staff, for all that you did for my husband and our family. You are all very special!

We have had very positive experience with Sunrise of Cary Senior Living in our first 30 days. The staff has consistently been both caring and professional. Special thanks to Monique for taking the time to get to know us - as a family - and meet expectations during the first 30 days where new routines can present hurdles. Keep up the excellent work Cary Sunrise Team!

My husband and I flew in from out of state to tour Sunrise of Cary last week. We booked our tour over a month in advance and received multiple calls confirming our appointment. We showed up; however, our tour guide did not, even though we received our final confirmation call the afternoon before. We waited over 45 minutes as we were told she was just running late, but she never showed up and no one else seemed to have any idea we were supposed to be there. We were VERY disappointed and ready to leave when a lovely woman, named Monique, said she would give us a tour even though she does not work in the memory care section. She showed us around and did her best to answer our questions in the small window of time we had left. The facility was nice and the people seemed happy, but at this point our biggest concern is that five days later we have still not heard a thing from Sunrise of Cary other than a generic email asking for a review—no phone call, no email, no apology, no follow up information, nothing. How does a facility that charges over $12,000 a month drop the ball so badly after repeatedly calling us prior to the tour? It clearly makes us rethink whether or not they would be able to care for my mother day in and day out when they can’t even manage to show up and/or follow up on a tour.

My entire family had the very best experience with the staff at Sunrise of Cary! Unfortunately, my dad, who was in AL, passed away from his terminal condition after being there for only 3 weeks but the excellent care and compassion shared by every single staff member went well beyond anything that we could have expected or received elsewhere. The Sunrise staff worked seamlessly with Transitions Life Care (Hospice) and helped my dad’s final journey be as peaceful as possible. Not only was the facility itself beautiful and impeccably maintained, each of the residents we interacted with seemed genuinely happy and very well taken care of. Everyone was treated like family. Although my dad wasn’t able to participate in any of the multitude of activities available to the residents each day, we could see that everyone who wanted to had the opportunity to engage in many ways with the other residents or just enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting. I hesitate to single anyone out since we were so impressed with every person we encountered, but a special ‘thank you’ goes to Angel and Betty, who went far and above the call of duty to tend to my family as well as to my dad. They doted on him and made him smile when no one else could. I HIGHLY recommend Sunrise of Cary to anyone looking for an all-around excellent AL facility!

I toured this community recently and met with Rebecca, who greeted me with so much empathy for the situation my family was facing as we tried to make quick arrangements for my dad. She spent over an hour and a half with me and my husband, patiently answering my marathon of questions. The community was lovely, but unfortunately my father passed away before we had the opportunity to move forward. From our visit, it was clear this is a community that truly cares about its residents. Rebecca spoke warmly to residents, held the elevator door for them, helped someone get seated at a table, and even gave us a gift from the chef on our way out. The other staff members we passed were also kind and welcoming to me and my husband. While I’m saddened that my dad didn’t get the chance to move here, I’m incredibly thankful for the genuine care and compassion that was shown to me during such a difficult time.
