Sunrise Assisted Living of Northville

When we decided to move my mom up from Texas last year, we needed to find a place rather quickly. Sunrise had been recommended to us by a friend, as her mother had received outstanding care when she was there. We only looked at Sunrise, so I cannot compare it to other places. I can tell you that the entire staff is loving and caring and treats my mom with so much respect. The thing that is so impressive is that it always smells clean and fresh! They go out of their way to celebrate holidays and special occasions and there are a lot of activities for your loved to participate in, if they choose to. Moving my mom 1,700 miles, from the only city she has ever lived in and a home she lived in for 55 years, was not easy, but Sunrise really helped her make the transition to Michigan. I cannot say enough about our experience with Sunrise. The entire staff is amazing! From the front desk, to the dining room and kitchen staff, housekeeping and maintenance, the nursing staff and the care team and the administrative team are first rate! My mom serves as one of the “Community Ambassadors” and she helps give tours to prospective residents and their families, she listens to other residents when they have questions, she enjoys helping out with her favorite exercise class and sometimes serves as a translator for Spanish for some of the other residents. If you are looking for a place that truly values your loved one, look no further than Sunrise of Northville.

My mother has been here for many years. Loves the food and the staff. They've taken good care of her and they always have a positive attitude. I wish it could be cheaper but then the food and staff quality would likely decline. I highly recommend for those needing assistance.

My family and I needed to make a quick decision about care for my parents after a hospital stay and noticeable decline. Our experience from day one was compassion from everyone. We started in assisted living and after a difficult time with my mother we needed to move them to Memory Care. EVERYONE at Sunrise made this a smooth transition. I truly felt that Sunrise became part of my family during a very difficult time for all of us. They helped us every step of the way.

I have lived here for 2.5 years and the help is the best part. The building is always clean and tidy and the meals are the best. I enjoy the exercise class in the morning, as well as the bible study course. I would recommend this place to anyone!
