Secretarial staff are pleasant and helpful. Noise in hallways 7-3 & 3-11 shifts. Meals are varied but are frequently poorly seasoned and cooked. Maintenance assists in a timely fashion.

If going into Memory Care, please have cameras in the apartment. This is the only way to know who’s going into his apartment & what’s going on. We saw a CNA searching thru his closet & items. We were misled about the care of our dad. Nighttime medicine was given in daytime, showers supposed to be 3x/wk (sometimes once or twice), housekeeper supposed to be once/wk (she came twice in 2months). Our list goes on & on. Our dad fell in main dining room & hallway, since no one is really watching him. Broke hip & femur on last fall. Never will we recommend this facility.

Our dad has been a resident of Summerfield for almost 4 years. He is very comfortable there and we are always treated well by the staff. Ms. Fran, Ms. Michelle, the dining staff and housekeeping are very sincere, welcoming, capable professionals. They keep us well informed and take good care of the residents. We're very glad he decided on Summerfield when he moved back to the area.

Wow! What a truly amazing facility! We recently took a tour for my parents and we were blown away! The staff greeted us friendly, the building was stunning, the lunch we had was delicious and the residents we spoke to on our tour had us convinced this was the place for my parents. Summerfield is the best in St. Tammany for a reason!! Top notch on all fronts!

Summerfield Assisted Living is the premier assisted living facility in St Tammany Parish. The staff is professional but caring as though the residents were their own relatives. They have so many activities for the residents and the food is awesome as well. The facility is always clean. If you need the perfect place for elderly relative this is it!!
