Summerfield of Stockton

After months of looking for a place for my husband, that had dementia I found Summerfield Memory Care. Summerfield felt like home the moment I walked inside. The staff was very welcoming and everyone I saw had a smile on their face. I had looked for a place from Modesto to Elk Grove. Not one place compared to Summerfield. Summerfield is strictly for people that have memory problems, so they are trained to handle situations that come up. In order to really appreciate Summerfield you need to visit. Each person has their own room with a bathroom, not a lot of places have bathrooms in each room. The common areas and dining room is very pleasant and welcoming. I can’t say enough about the care they provide. It was a very difficult decision for me to made but Summerfield was everything I was looking for. I can’t thank the people at Summerfield enough for the love and care they gave my husband but also to our family.

It's always a difficult decision to place a family member in a facility. However, Leslie the Director helped and assisted in our decision to place our father in Summerfield. Our father has adjusted wonderfully and has received excellent care while he has been with Summerfield. All of the staff, including Director Leslie, the nurses and the CNA's have been so helpful , informative and attentive to our father. We would highly recommend Summerfield to anyone with a family member who is experiencing memory issues. The Machen Children

From the first day I visited Summerfield I felt the importance of healthy human contact and kindness. It was clearly on display in all aspects of the Summerfield care for the folks in need ongoing help in their declining years. It has been my personal experience now that my sister and brother-in-law are living there. They and I are fortunate Summerfield is there to help us all.
