Choosing a home for someone you love is one of the hardest decisions a family can make. Looking back, I can say with complete confidence that choosing this facility for my grandma was one of the greatest blessings our family could have asked for. From the very beginning, every worker treated my grandma with love, compassion, and dignity. It wasn’t just the medical care that made this place so special, it was the countless acts of kindness. When my grandma didn’t feel like eating, a cook would make special breakfasts just for her, hoping to find something that would make her smile and encourage her to eat. Staff members stayed well past the end of their shifts simply because they didn’t want her to be alone. They gave her their time, their comfort, and their hearts, and our family will never forget that. One of the most precious gifts they gave us was helping my grandma attend my wedding. They made sure she was “wedding ready” by helping her get dressed, doing her hair, painting her nails, and making her beautiful for such an important day. Because of their kindness and dedication, she was able to be there to celebrate one of the happiest moments of my life. That memory is something I will treasure forever. Later, when my grandpa was in the hospital at the end of his life, the staff made it possible for my grandma to be taken there so they could say their final goodbyes. There are simply no words to express what that meant to our family. To every single person who played a part in my grandma’s journey, thank you. Thank you for treating her like family and for loving her so deeply. Because of you, we have peace knowing she spent her final chapter surrounded by people who truly cared. If you are looking for a home for your loved one, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We will be forever grateful.

My Father John Piel resided at Sugar Creek for 1 year and 4 months. I can only hope the staff at Sugar Creek knows and understands how much we all appreciated the care they gave my father. John. passed away recently with family and staff at his side. The care he received was unmatched as was the care he was shown. The rooms were very pleasant, food was exceptional, and the facility is of the highest quality I have yet to see or experience. The staff went far beyond what was expected as they do with all the residence. Anyone would be hard pressed to find senior living of this quality anywhere else. Hats off to Sugar Creek, we will never forget what they did for my Dad during his last times with us. All the best, Dave

My mom had a terrible experience there, it was thru Covid so we couldn’t visit, she ended up in the hospital, nurses taking pictures of her bruises on her head and body because of abuse charges. She was moved to St Mary’s OFallon ( used to be a convenient and nursing school t and and was treated great there. Keep them at home!
