Stratford Court of Palm Harbor

My aunt lived here for four years, and I can say with complete sincerity that those years were among the most peaceful and fulfilling of her later life. She was a remarkable woman — someone who had always frequented fine salons, elegant restaurants, and enjoyed the finer things — a person of great grace and refinement who carried herself with quiet dignity her entire life. When her health began to decline and remaining in her own home was no longer possible, this facility became her home — and what a home it was. Rather than experiencing loss, she flourished. The warmth of the staff, the richness of the activity program, the attentiveness of the medical team — all of it gave her not just care, but genuine joy and a sense of belonging. She passed away at 95, and while that is of course a profound loss, there is immeasurable comfort in knowing that her final years were spent in a place where she was seen, valued, and treated as the elegant, vibrant person she had always been. Her happiness there was real and visible. Primary care and podiatry services were consistently available, which made an enormous difference in her comfort and wellbeing. And when navigating medication changes and the challenges of rising healthcare costs, the staff were invaluable — knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly going above and beyond. To everyone at this facility — thank you. You gave my aunt four beautiful years. She deserved every moment of it.

My Grandma has been living at the independent side of Stratford for over a year, and out of the 4 places she's lived in, this is the first one she's actually been happy. She has a lovely apartment with a balcony overlooking the water, with a decent little kitchen. All of the staff have been so kind, and anytime we've had issues they've gone to help her without compliant. They've gone above and beyond to help her and me on several occasions. They make truly fresh food here, and have a nice salad bar, and always offer me to eat as well when I visit her. My grandma is a cranky customer and very stubborn, so finding a place that can still keep a smile while helping her, and has actually made her smile and feel welcomed has meant the world to us.

For the assisted living portion, the staff is consistently helpful, patient, and kind — even during moments when my father may not be at his best. This can be a very difficult and emotional time for our loved ones, but Stratford Court remains attentive, compassionate, and vigilant throughout the entire process.

We found Stratford Court for our Aunt Joni last October ( 2024). We recently had to have her go to a skilled nursing facility due to failing health. I wanted to let the staff at Stratford know how much we apprecitaed the love and care they showed our Aunt. She was happy with her accomodations and the lovely nurses, kitchen staff and overall staffing here. They are very hard workers and they care about their residents. I would recommend Stratford Court to anyone that is looking for quality living for their loved ones when faced with this difficult decision and can longer care for them at home. I want to give a special thank you to Lina Garrett! Such a beautiful, kind soul. She treated our Aunt with the utmost respect and care. Our Aunt really enjoyed talking to Lina about books, and life experiences. Thank you Lina for being so wonderful to our Joni. We will miss the staff at Stratford and wish them our best. My partner and I have lived in Senior Independent Living at Stratford Court of Palm Harbor for two and a half years, and we wish we had made the move sooner! We love the food and all the amenities offered. The monthly rental price was the lowest we found in the vicinity, and there was no hefty “buy-in” or entry fee. Any concerns we have had have been promptly addressed by the staff and management. If you have been putting off a move to a senior complex, I’d encourage you to wait no longer, and be sure to include Stratford Court in your search.
