UPDATE. My initial review was 5 stars, and this was when Lisa Wallace was the Executive Director. Lisa was EXCEPTIONAL by every metric, a solid 5-out-of-5!! Her last day at this Maumelle location was Friday, December 17, 2021. Our dad continued to live here afterwards, but the place suddenly went downhill. Turnover was high, quality of care declined and repeated requests for basic nursing care information went unanswered for months. We became so dissatisfied we HAD to move our dad elsewhere. Keinona Davis, the Business Office Manager, had the longest tenure of those we interacted with. After Lisa moved on , Keinona was the only one we could count on who was always nice and responsive. I would definitely NOT recommend this place whatsoever. ============================================== INITIAL REVIEW We are totally pleased with Stonehaven. The facility has a warm, homey feel and the staff is quite friendly and very responsive to our requests. Lisa in particular is awesome. She does a great job communicating regular updates to family. Whenever I call, she takes time to talk, and I never feel rushed to end the call. I appreciate her approach to residents' concerns; she takes them seriously and is thorough addressing them. Nona is good, too. Whenever I call with a question or a request, she's so courteous on the phone and responds in a positive manner. They have a great team. Keep up the great work!

On the day my mom was to move in and I made the prorated April 2023 payment, the room had not been cleaned. Sawdust in the bathroom floor, trash in the kitchen floor, spills in the refrigerator, pee on the toilet seat, etc. Sales Director said all would be cleaned that day but it was not. Since I was moving my mom from rehab, I had to clean the room myself. I set up automatic payments to start May 1. Stonehaven withdrew from my mom's account the full May payment on May 2 and again May 5. I've been trying since then to get their May 5 withdrawal error corrected ever since.

Both my elderly inlaws were here for several years. No problems until management changed and 1 of them was moved to the "memory care wing." I didn't observe a higher level of care there. In fact, there were more than a few falls and unanswered questions. My hubby had healthcare POA and requested records (with correct Arkansas state form). Sent it certified, so they got it.. never heard a word from them. Months went by.. They acted defensive that we where even asking for them. Both residents are deceased now, but this is just our experience with stonehaven.
