Legacy Village of Murrells Inlet

My mom was a resident for almost a year and she would agree with me that her stay was amazing! Ever since Larissa (Executive director) took over the quality of care and experience from top to bottoms was nothing short of 5 stars! Kim (nurse) was great with my mom and tended to her needs with ‘Florence Nightingale’ standards. Christine at the front desk always greeted me a friendly smile and made me feel welcome. I had no concerns whatsoever having my mom at Seabrook and highly recommend it to other’s!

Please do your research before placing a loved one at this facility. In my experience, the environment remains disorganized and stressful, particularly due to concerns about the conduct and performance of a nurse named Kim. I observed behavior that I believe reflected neglectful care, as well as a pattern of treating residents and others disrespectfully. I also had concerns about communication with Larissa, the director. When I attempted to discuss these issues, I felt that my concerns were dismissed, my questions were not addressed honestly, and the interactions were often rude and avoidant. Families considering this facility should thoroughly investigate its quality of care and speak with current residents, families, and staff before making a decision.

The team at Legacy Village is truly exceptional from top to bottom. Larissa, the Executive Director, does an incredible job leading with professionalism, compassion, and a clear dedication to both residents and staff—it shows in everything she does. Cece, the Sales Coordinator, is an absolute standout. She’s welcoming, knowledgeable, and makes the entire process feel easy and stress-free for families. Kim, the nurse, is attentive, compassionate, and always goes above and beyond to ensure residents receive the best possible care. Kaitlyn, the Activities Director, brings so much life and energy into the community, creating engaging and meaningful experiences that residents truly enjoy and look forward to. And Joanne, the Business Office Manager, keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes—organized, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. It’s clear this team genuinely cares about their residents and works together seamlessly to create a warm, supportive environment. Highly recommend Legacy Village to anyone looking for a place where people are truly valued and cared for.

I have visited Legacy Village often, visiting friends. Every time I have experienced a very happy environment. it is obvious that my friends and other residents are well cared for and happy. Larissa, the Executive Director, does an great job leading the community. I have also met Joanne King in the business office, she is very kind, always with a smile and helpful to the residents. I have recommended Legacy Village to family and friends. It's a good feeling knowing that the care there is exactly what the residents need.
