I moved to Monarch Landing in June 2000. I injured my hip and decided I was unable to live on my own, and moved to the Springs. I have been here a little over a year now. The help here is excellent. 90% of employees go out of their way to help you. When they see me, they will stop to help me, and push my wheelchair to where I am going.

My husband and I moved into Monarch 7years ago. We absolutely love living here. We were just a mile away from Monarch and watched the buildings go up. We were 75 at that time and recognized the importance of planning for the future and helping our children plan with us so it would be a ‘fun’ move’. We did not want to wait till our children had to struggle about what to do for us. We are so glad we moved at that time. Monarch has everything we wanted: plenty of exercise, stimulating informative presentations, travel opportunities, medical assistance, beautiful campus, and fascinating neighbors. We especially love the opportunities to participate in causes important to us. One example is the sustainability committee that strives to ‘reduce, reuse and recycle’ at monarch. Leaving our children and grandchildren a better planet is crucial to us. Everyone can do something!

My experience at the Springs at Monarch was wonderful! They had such empathy and patience towards the patient. They were insightful, encouraging, and aware of your therapy that you had each day. I am so pleased I had this experience and healing with therapy very happy with them!

We have had two family members at The Springs in long term care and are so blessed that the abundance of care that they have both received is beyond our expectations. Our grandparents moved into Monarch Landing in 2008 and immensely enjoyed their years there. There is peace of mind knowing that The Springs is right there on the same campus, making the transition to LTC as seamless as possible.
