I recently had the opportunity to visit a family member in the memory care unit at Southern Life Assisted Living, and I felt compelled to share what a wonderful experience it was. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring—not just toward the residents, but toward visiting family members as well. It’s clear that they truly love what they do, and that makes such a difference in a memory care setting. The residents appeared happy, engaged, and well cared for. The environment was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to support those with memory challenges. It brought our family so much peace of mind to see our loved one in a place where they feel safe and supported. A special thank you to the amazing Wellness Director, Stephanie. Her compassion, professionalism, and hands-on involvement really stand out. She goes above and beyond to ensure each resident receives personalized care and attention, and it shows in the overall positive atmosphere of the community. Southern Life Assisted Living’s memory care unit is truly a blessing for families looking for quality, compassionate care for their loved ones. The community is under going some updates. The front entry way is warm and welcoming. They take very good care of the residents. The staff are happy, in turn residents are happy.
