I am a healthcare account representative that calls on this community consistently, and I have been impressed with the intimate, first name basis, setting also the kindness and warmth of the staff and the way the community is nestled on the property with a beautiful lake view! This is somewhere I would enjoy living myself in a few years!

Hi Jose. Thank you so much for taking the time to give us a Google review. Google reviews are helpful for many families in finding the best care homes possible with honest customer feedback. Unfortunately your rating violates Google’s eligibility for leaving a review because your wife was terminated yesterday from our Walnut Creek location. You also did not leave a reason for the one star rating so we can only assume it is being left out of malice & an attempt to slander our incredible reputation in the community. To the best of my knowledge you have never stepped foot in Southern Haven or interacted with any of our staff or residents. We have very high standards of care and expect our staff to treat our residents and coworkers loving & kind at all times. We are very sorry your wife did not meet these standards but wish you both well in your future endeavors.

I never knew this place existed until I started working with a local healthcare company, so you can’t miss what you don’t have right? Wasn’t I wrong! This place is great! They have small ratios, great staff, and they recently remodeled so a beautiful interior. LaRay the director does an awesome job and is easy to get ahold of and the staff members (I don’t remember all their names) are always attentive! I definitely recommend Lighthouse and support everything they do!
