This community has so much energy and life. The grounds are beautiful and the clinical care is excellent. What an amazing community!

Silverado Berkeley is the magical place where the true definition of community is expressed through love, care, and support of all residents, families, and staff everyday. Im greeted by the community dogs and cats at the door, concierge is baking fresh cookies and I get to smell the flowers from the courtyards and garden with all the sun shining through the open doors. Residents are happy and joyful, their lives are enriched in ways their loved ones couldn't imagine. I used to work at Senior Living establishments referring to Silverado and now im blessed to call Silverado Berkeley my home.

My mother lived at Silverado Berkeley for many years, and the staff has always been exceptional. They treated my mother with patience, dignity, and kindness. They always took time to attend to her needs, to listen, and to make sure she was truly cared for. Trusting others with the care of someone you love is never easy, but this team made it possible, as her daughter, to feel peace of mind that she was well cared for. I'm deeply grateful to the staff at Silverado Berkeley for their consistent dedication and heart. Thank you.

If you have a loved one in need of memory care, please consider Silverado Berkeley Memory Care Community. It is uniquely excellent in many ways. The physical place is more like a big comfy home and not a sterile institution. The staff, including non clinicians, is highly trained and in fact people who are training to provide Memory Care often go through their training with Silverado. This place approaches the considerable challenges of providing Memory care with a humanistic approach that compliments the most contemporary scientific underpinnings informing care planning tailored for each resident. Silverado can handle residents with varied needs from the higher functioning to those primarily with nursing needs/hospice, behavioral challenges and all shades in between. Family, too, are very well cared for and involved in the community. Though my husband died before he could join Silverado, the advocacy provided by Morgan, the Silverado RN Administrator, on his behalf in dealing with the acute care hospital , went very far above and beyond expectation. I can’t say enough about her and how sad I am my husband didn’t get the chance to get there. Did I mention there are dogs, cats, birds and a bunny? There are beautiful gardens to enjoy family gatherings or quiet moments. I can’t imagine a better place for a person with memory care level of need.

Silverado Berkeley Memory Care is one of my preferred memory care communities. The residents are consistently active, engaged, and appear happy. The community is well-staffed and conveniently located in the heart of Berkeley.
