Silverado Belmont Hills is an incredibly welcoming place, and I'm consistently impressed by both the quality of the staff and the heart they bring to the work. I've had the privilege of visiting twice as a visiting scholar with a research program studying Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, learning about the lived experience of memory care and spending time with residents and staff. Both visits have been highlights of the program. Memory care communities vary widely in philosophy, and of the facilities I've visited, Silverado stands out through the deep empathy the team brings to every interaction. It's a culture of servant leadership, evident in staff members like Marisa, Shiv, and many others. What sets this community apart is its physical and operational design: freedom of movement, access to vibrant green spaces, and innovative technology deployed in support of resident dignity, independence, and the ability to keep living everyday life. For families weighing options, those design choices are worth seeing in person.

Silverado is a great memory care community for those that are still in the early stages, they have a large and beautiful garden located in a quiet serene area, and most of the staff have been there for a while. Shiv, Anja, and Bob are just some of the knowledgeable staff you can count on.
