SILVERADO HERMANN PARK

My wife has been a resident of Silverado Hermann Park for nearly two years. She is in hospice care, a victim of advanced dementia. In many ways she has improved - more relaxed, smiles more than her last days at home, more responsive, happier - since joining the community I believe this is largely due to the professionalism, kindness and personal care - loving care - of her nurses and caregivers. The facility is not fancy but it is safe, clean and welcoming. Family and friends are welcome. There are no set visiting hours, and several resident dogs wander around the halls (not dining rooms) and secure courtyard, often cuddled by residents. I would recommend anyone looking for a possible future home for their loved ones to visit Silverado Hermann Park and see for yourself.

The people caring for mom day to day are amazing. Everyone knows her by name and they know what she enjoys. They are so purposeful in their engagement of my mom…always encouraging, positive but never pushy. They provide therapeutic opportunities for her to have fun but even more, they create opportunities for her to contribute and serve a purpose, something that is really important. I simply cannot say enough good things about the experience. I am so incredibly grateful we found a place worthy of our precious mom for this season of her life. Thank you.

Dior and Christi are ausome activity directors! I love entertaining there at Silverado . The residents are very anxious to hear the music and the directors and all the staff engage throughout the event with the residents. . Dior has so many cool ideas when planning an event. I can't wait to see what he has in store each month when I arrive .He surprises me with his imagination and creativeness! You go Dior!! Just a couple of pics of Diors genius creativity!

As a member of a women’s ministry team we thoroughly enjoy the weekly bingo game visits with residents. Mr. Dior and his team are extremely friendly to all and show respectful and patient attention to the needs of the residents. The floor decorations are eye-catching and the atmosphere is quite relaxing. Everyone we have encountered from the Receptionist to Facility Staff are A+ exceptional. Keep up the great work!

I can not say enough good things about Silverado Hermann Park. Staff was welcoming, informative, and genuinely compassionate. Gigi McCorkle the Administrator is excellent along with her entire team!
