Leah, Rosalee, and the entire staff are fantastic. Prior to moving my mom to Silverado I had her in several other assisted living facilities, all of which I would be continuously worried about her care, falls, etc. She has now been at Silverado for just over a year and her mental and physical health have improved SO much in the last year.

Choosing memory care for my mom was difficult until we found Silverado Bellingham. After touring and comparing several facilities, Silverado was a complete no-brainer. The community is beautiful, clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed with attention to every detail that truly supports residents with dementia. What sets Silverado apart is the exceptional staff. Every caregiver, nurse, and team member has been welcoming and has treated us with genuine kindness. Their expertise in dealing with dementia is obvious. The programming is engaging, the food is excellent, and the staffing ratios give us total peace of mind. If you’re looking for memory care in Bellingham, visit Silverado first. My experience with Silverado Memory Care has been extremely upsetting. During my visits, I personally witnessed residents left sitting in soiled clothing and needing attention for far too long. It was heartbreaking to see people who deserve dignity and compassion not receiving timely care. I expected a facility specializing in memory care to be attentive, responsive, and respectful toward vulnerable residents, but what I saw did not reflect that. Families place enormous trust in staff to provide basic comfort and cleanliness, and that trust was not honored in what I observed. I truly hope management addresses these issues, because the residents deserve far better.
