If I could give this facility a 0 rating I would. Do not put any of your loved ones in this place or any Bonaventure facility. This is not a place I would recommend for your loved ones in. It’s an absolute disaster It is totally mismanaged. Broke down wash machines trash piling up. Door pad to open the front door is broken so if you’re in a wheelchair or not very strong you will not be able to get out. The food can take up to an hour and longer to get served in the dining room. If there no cook that day you will get Little Caesars Pizza. They never follow up on concerns or complaints. Some Staff even recommends that you move out of this facility due to the lack of resources and care. If you are interested in staying at any Bonaventure facility, talk to at least 5 people without staff around and they will tell you the actual truth.

Response from the owner

We apologize for the experience, it is always our goal for everyone to have a wonderful customer service experience when interacting with our community. What you have described is not our typical practice and we will be following up with the community team. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss the situation in more depth. Please contact our Home Office at 503-566-5715.

Moved our father in back in Dec. of 2019. He has repeatedly told us that the meals on the menu are under par. Tasteless for the most part and usually near cold when served. Many times parts of the meals are missing and rarely gets condiments to go with the meal. One day he was served a salad which was nothing but lettuce and no dressing. His dinner has been served as late as 6 pm but the icing on the cake came today when at 7pm came around and no dinner had been brought. He went down stairs to see when they were bringing dinner and was told dinner had been served already. He told the man at the desk noone brought him his supper. The man said he would see what he could do. About 30 minutes later the man brought my dad a cold sandwhich. This is not the only time he got a cold sandwhich for supper. Pretty lousy service for 3,800.00 a month. As soon as this virus thing is over he's moving out. Horrible place and so sorry I ever let my father move in there.

Response from the owner

Jeanie, we're sorry to hear about the experience your father has had with dining recently. It appears that Google has "held on" to your review for about 5 weeks as it just appeared on our side. As you know, COVID-19 has caused severe disruption across all aspects of life and our dining program was no exception. During this time our resident safety is our number one priority and we have implemented many new systems to ensure the safety of your father. Unfortunately, one of those changes was that we needed to shut down our dining rooms and deliver meals directly to our resident's suites to help protect everyone. The steps we have taken are unprecedented and often go above and beyond CDC and state guidelines for controlling the spread of this deadly virus. We are happy to say that we have done a fantastic job of keeping this virus out of our communities and can happily report that we have no cases of COVID-19 at Silver Creek. If you have further concerns or questions please feel free to reach out to us directly by emailing us at dkeeling@livebsl.com or by calling our home office at 503-566-5715. Thank you and stay safe.
