Serenity of Commerce

Serenity of Commerce was a blessing for our family. It was the fourth location where our Mother lived during her battle with Alzheimer’s. The staff made us feel welcome and part of her care team. They worked very well with hospice and helped us advocate for her needs. Near the end of my Mother’s life, I was able to be by her side starting at 4am with the overnight staff. Management and staff extend the care and compassion they would want for their loved ones to the residents and their families. I highly recommend this care facility!

Serenity is the absolute best spot to ensure your loved one is cared for. We went through 3-4 places trying to find loving and thoughtful care for our mother and all I can say is I only wish we had found them day one. This is a place I’d want to be when I grow old. The staff are so nurturing, honest, and care like you are part of their family. They went out and bought my mom a pair of Xmas pajamas for their holiday party and took individual photos giving each of us daughters a framed copy. My mom always looked great, smelled great, ate well, soothing music playing in her room. They worked tirelessly to help adjust her meds with hospice so she could participate and join the common area comfortably. We were informed and updated regularly and o couldn’t have asked for a better spot for my mom to spend her final months. I’m forever grateful.

Highly recommend! The personalized and specialized care that was shown to our loved one was as good as being at home. Not only our loved one but at every visit we witnessed loving acts of kindness towards all the residents. Individual care and attention is shown to every resident and guest. With only 10-12 ladies the staff to resident ratio is impressive and our family can't say enough good things about each and every staff member. From Kelly and Shannon to Katie, Monica and each caregiver we came in contact with the mix of love and professionalism is unsurpassed.

We were able to have our Aunt move into Serenty in June, every care giver we came in contact with who embraced our Aunt were Amazing! She had her own room with attached bathroom. The meals served are healthy and such care is given to help all enjoy the meal. Shannon and Kelly who manage this home are very on top of all needs of meds also. We would highly recommend this home for any one who needs to place their Love one for excellent care. 5 Stars!

Our family has had an excellent experience with Serenity of Commerce. The staff treats my mother with genuine warmth and respect, and they know her preferences well. The community is clean, well maintained, and the activities team does an outstanding job keeping residents engaged. My mother has lived at Serenity of Commerce for four years, and they have been consistently wonderful to her. We would highly recommend this community to other families. I live in Chicago and previously had a loved one in an assisted living community with national name recognition, but the level of care and staffing was not comparable. The nurse coverage per floor and overall attentiveness at that community did not meet our expectations. We are very fortunate to have our mother at Serenity of Commerce, where you can truly see the care, commitment, and compassion every day. I would also like to recognize the exceptional team members who have supported her: Kelly, Monica, Andrea, Grace, Makayla, Danielle, Sarah, Kim, and Katie.
