I am my 57 year old brother’s guardian, and he is disabled, with numerous health issues. He is difficult. The staff at Seneca house is so patient and caring, I give them my highest recommendation. The director Tola Cerla is amazing, he truly cares about the best interests of the residents. Communication is excellent, we work through my brother’s challenges. My experiences with the mental health system overall have been disappointing- Tola and the Staff at Seneca House have set the bar high for quality services, integrity, and maintaining an engaging and active community. I know my brother is well taken care of by the team at Seneca House, and for that I am very grateful.

allegedly my family member was set to move in the 14th of last month. the date was moved to the 19th, then the 24th, the date before her surgery and her lease was up. then on the 24th, they moved her date to a week later, or she could go to Denver. who in their right mind suggests that someone blind and in a wheelchair moves to Denver, far away from her support system? her move in date has been continuously moved, now 7 times. today she was told she should just find another place to live. please do not be fooled by the positive reviews and the cute website. the lack of professionalism is a crime, and downright discriminatory.

Hi Michelle, the team at Seneca house did not get the opportunity to meet or talk to you while planning to care for your mother but we wanted to let you know that our decision to not support your mother at Seneca house was for her own best interest. I know that she really wanted to be here but we felt she could be better served at other locations due to her unique needs. The Administrator made it clear to mom and her social worker that based on her needs, she could not be successfully cared for here and we offered options within our operation that can support her needs. We offered our homes in Loveland, Greeley and or Denver will be better suited to meet mom’s needs. I know mom really wanted to be at Seneca House but I assure you that our decision to not support her was communicated in a timely manner and we gave her Atleast 3 options that will be a better fit.

We recently moved my mother into Seneca House Assisted Living after realizing that her dementia had progressed to a degree that she could no longer live on her own. We looked at several options for her care and found that Seneca House met all of our criteria including caring staff, planned activities and a social environment that would keep her engaged. I cannot express how much I appreciate the staff's care and commitment to keeping my mother safe and well cared for. The patience with which they have addressed my mother's memory loss has been amazing. The staff has worked tirelessly to help her adjust to her new environment after being fiercely independent all her adult life. I have no worries and feel very confident that my mother is receiving the care she needs in a kind supportive environment.

My mom has been living at Seneca House for about 8 months now. This is the third facility she has lived in and it has been the best fit for our family. Because my mom has short term memory issues, the fact that Seneca House is an actual house (renovated to be an assisted living) and not a big facility has been amazing for her. The staff is wonderful and treats each resident with love and respect. They never make you feel like you are bothering them when you call and they genuinely care about my mom. The owners, Greg and Justyna, are so welcoming, are open to ideas to make my mom feel at home, and are very communicative. They reach out if they feel your parent needs something. For instance, my mom loves to read the newspaper. When delivery was interrupted due to issues with the newspaper, Greg texted me to ask about it because my mom was wanting to read it. That's how well they know her! The other residents are so sweet to my mom too, even when she asks the same questions repeatedly! The house is kept clean and feels like home. We have been so happy with my mom's care. We know she is well cared for and is safe. It gives me great peace of mind. We are SO happy that we moved her to Seneca House!
