Mom lived at Second Home for a little over two years. She always thought of it as her home. The house is spacious and clean with lovely grounds. Mom enjoyed taking care of the flowers and being outdoors on the patio. We were always welcome to visit anytime and bring along her granddog. Eleonora and all the care staff made Mom and all her family feel welcome. Meals are home cooked and delicious. Arrangements were made for in home health care visits and a hair stylist to come on a regular basis. We feel so fortunate to have found Second Home and highly recommend them for your family.

Second Home did a tremendous job taking care of my mother. Truly a “second home” where my mother was comfortable and found friendships with staff and other residents. A quiet home located within a neighborhood that was reminiscent of my mother’s. An attentive and professional staff provided consistent care. The owner Eleonora, understands the needs of the residents and their families. I am grateful to Second Home for maintaining my mother’s dignity in her final days. Highly recommended.

Our mom was the second resident to arrive at Second Home where she resided for 23 months. It was the perfect fit for her an open floor plan, awesome patio on 3 acres with plenty of wildlife. Our mom was big on feeding “her” deer and the birds. She enjoyed the patio often and loved helping with the dishes. The caretakers I can’t say enough about they genuinely care about each resident, try to meet their needs everyday and encourage them to do activities such as taking a walk or having a snack and doing a puzzle. Elenora is awesome she communicates issues or concerns, she always meets the needs of the residents food they like, desserts daily, music, puzzles and decorates for holidays and everyone has a birthday party! It was good for my mom to have other people to interact with and make friends. She could also have her own time as well. Family is always encouraged to visit at anytime.

Second Home was absolutely the best place for my mother. It allowed her to maintain her routines without worrying about meals. My mom loved to feed the deer and do a little gardening and even wash the dishes after meals. The house is very spacious and modern in a quiet part of a residential neighborhood. We would visit often bring the dog to visit and the residents there became like our second family. Our mother was keeping her independence while still getting home cooked meals and occasionally there would be activities such as painting, music, group walks holiday and birthday parties. The staff is the best and really care about all the residence. Even as the level of care changes, Second Home ensure our mother had everything she needed. There is no doubt that this was the best choice for our mother.

Second Home will always have a special place in my heart for how well they took care of my mother before she passed. The loving attention she received from the staff made her so happy! She bonded with her fellow residents as they did their exercises, crafts, or went on walks together. Eleonora, the owner is wonderful and very receptive to the needs of the residents and their families. I've recommended Second Home several times to those looking for excellent care for their loved ones. They are the best!
