Satchell's Christian Retirement Home

In my opinion, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, unless they don't like their old person. Charging $3000(+) per month and they don't have activities or seem to follow a medical diet. My loved one was there for over a year, and in that time had a significant decline in mobility, health issues, and weight gain. We were told there were activities, but they are few and far between. Maybe bingo once a month, but not every month, a couple choirs came to sing for them, Bible study some Sundays, and 1 off site dance. And exercise...ZERO ZERO ZERO! There is nothing for them to do but sit and wait to die. My person was active and mobile before this place. Between the complete lack of exercise, what seems to be constant starch of casseroles, bored out of their skull from very little stimulation, and utterly miserable....there is noticeable decline physically, mentally, and overall health. I'm so grateful my loved one is finally out of there.

All the ladies I meet are kind and funny. Its a fun place to be at
