I just moved my mother here a month ago, only a couple days after we moved her in, we learned she was lied to. We were told she would be able to dine at the dining hall at any time for an additional per meal charge, which was perfect for her. Only two days after she moved in, we were told she was not allowed to dine at the dining hall due to changes from corporate, which is now causing difficulties as she does not drive, is in a wheelchair and she cannot afford the full package with three meals a day. She was also told she would be provided a remote control for the AC as she cannot reach it and has not gotten anything. We also had an issue after hours trying to drop her off after her birthday dinner, we tried calling the number on the gate and no one answered so she could not get back into her apartment. One of the receptionists was EXTREMELY rude when I tried to request to be contacted and I never received a call back. My mother has also informed me that the same receptionist has been rude to her on numerous occasions. She wrote my number down on the back of a piece of scratch paper and I do not believe she ever gave it to management as no one contacted me. The only reason I am giving two stars is most of the staff is nice, the apartment is nice and the facility has been recently updated. Note - they also advertise that there are dining options for 55+ on their brochure and they do not offer these options once you move in.

Eduardo was exceptionally attentive in answering our questions and showing us around. You can tell people are happy as they greet and chat with each other. Feels like a good place.

Edjordo gave us the tour of the whole place. I was inquiring for a friend who may soon need call Sun City Gardens home. I was so impressed I cant tell you. First thing is the vibe as you walk in. All smiles and positivity. Clean, and inviting. I met Craig, and Briana also, Other staff as we walk on our tour we friendly and all said a cheery hello, Very Mellow place, which I liked. We came at noontime and were offered lunch too! All the residents I talked to raved about the place. I dont know if my friend will be coming here, But Im sure considering it for myself!

I recently had the pleasure of touring several senior communities in search of the perfect place for my grandmother, and Sun City Gardens truly stood out from the rest. While the beautiful upgrades and wonderful amenities were impressive, what made our experience exceptional was the kindness and compassion of Edoardo, the marketing director. From the moment I arrived I was able to observe his interactions with the residents and the staffs interactions with the residents. Edoardo's passion for the community was evident and his kind caring heart truly shows. While observing He greeted everyone and knew all the residents by name and people lit up with happiness when they would speak to them. He had a genuine connection with the residents, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. When I brought my grandmother for her tour, he went above and beyond by holding her hand and assisting her on the steeper slopes, showing incredible patience and care. He took the time to engage with her getting to know her on a deeper level even , remembering details from our previous conversations that I had months prior. The way he treated her and her interaction with the other residents made her feel loved cared about and wanted which was so important for me. My grandmother expressed that, out of all the places we visited, Sun City Gardens was her absolute favorite—not just for its beautiful facility , but for the loving and accepting community atmosphere. It’s clear that people like Edoardo make a significant impact on the lives of residents and their families. I wholeheartedly recommend Sun City Gardens to anyone looking for a supportive and friendly environment for their loved ones. I feel grateful knowing my grandmother would be part of such a wonderful community!

While initially checking out this community as a possible new home for my mom, the first impression I got was how nice the front end staff were and in general the place had a great welcoming happy vibe . Residents seem very happy and engaged . There was live music in the lounge and many residents with smiles and even some dancing. Esmeralda was awesome and very hospitable and showed me the grounds and one of the studios even without an appointment as a walk-in . The main lobby, lounge and dining area have all been renovated with a beautiful decor that looks like a nice hotel as you walk in. I love the indoor micro garden that you first see as you walk in Which also serves as a nice place for residents to retreat to. I was told that they will be renovating the rest of the buildings as well. This community has now become a new home for my mom and she’s very happy! On a recent visit to my mom, My son and I enjoyed shooting a game pool while my mom enjoyed watching. My mom has shared how much she enjoys, taking a stroll after dinner in the outdoor garden area. This community is definitely a great place which I can attest to also as a guest visiting when I visit with my mom!
