Sacred Heart is a safe and peaceful home for my mom, who needs assistance around the clock. The caregivers are compassionate and friendly; and the administrators are available and helpful when needed. It is a family owned facility/home and it is a family oriented place. I would recommend Sacred Heart for your loved one, too. Bonus: the grounds are beautiful where deer and birds are plentiful.

Very happy with the conditions of this home. It truly is a "home". There is a lot of love shared between the residents and the staff and it is quite obvious. Activities are planned to keep the residents busy and meals are very well thought out. My person complains that he has to drink so much water, but we know how important it is for him to drink lots of water as we get older.

Lovely wooded setting in the rolling hills and farm lands near Gregory. Several screened porches with peaceful views all round. Squirrels, birds and the occasional deer seen regularly. Large shaded and mowed lawn for walks and picnics. The house itself is reminiscent of a southern mansion with a two story collunaded entrance. There is nothing institutional about the homey interior complete with piano, organ and grand father clock. There are several dinning areas and a mantaled fireplace. Pictures and knick knacks and chandeliers complete the home atmosphere. A small room has been converted to a chapel setting and Christian services are offered weekly. Meals are made fresh daily by staff not an institutional cook. Sacred Heart is family operated with other hand picked aids who offer very personal care. A peaceful, quiet, rural setting for reflection in the latter stages of life. You must visit to truley understand what a gem Sacred Heart is

My mom has lived at Sacred Heart for over four years and is doing well in that environment. She is happy and never alone. Our family chose this place after visiting many other places in the area. Sacred Heart is a home and not an institution. It is set in the country with lots of green, and quiet space. Since there is little staff turn over, the staff knows each resident well. The maximum number of residents is 12 so it has a family feel. The resident's families are made to feel welcome and kept apprised of how the resident is doing. Residents are given healthy meals and snacks. Medications are administered and monitored consistently. The owners are always looking for ways to improve the home and the experience for the residents. One of the best parts of Sacred Heart is Katie, the original owner who still lives on the property; she is actively involved with the residents playing games, baking and visiting with them.

I have a very dear lady friend who has the privilege of being the oldest resident at this home 98 and in April she will be 99. I visit her regularly and the home is as pictured. The place is always kept in immaculate condition, there is from the entry to the living quarters a feeling of being in your home not an institution. When you walk through the front door you’ll smell the homemade, home style food for the residents to enjoy. Trust me this is good eating. ( I’ve sampled ) The staff is very caring and serious about any needs that the residents may have and you just sense these people love what they do. In my humble opinion I feel that these folks love their guests almost as much as well love them. Most certainly a quality living environment for anyone who has the need. First class.
