Pretty far but amazing place with amazing staff they really care about there Patience

Extremely compassionate and attentive staff. The facility is clean and residents well cared for. The circumstances that cause one to require long term care at the end of life are difficult to face. The staff went above and beyond to help my family navigate a challenging situation and I am grateful for their humanity. As a medical professional I was struck by how well they attended my father’s physical condition - even when the natural course of disease was extreme immobility and deterioration, it was notable how well his wounds were cared for, that his skin was clean and moisturized, his nails in good condition, his lips not dry or cracked, his fluid balance maintained. They brought in and coordinated well with outside resources such as hospice at the appropriate times to ensure holistic care. Nobody obviously wants to require nursing home services and the intensity of physical and emotional demand involved in caring for someone who does require that level of care must be extremely high. The commitment to doing the best that can be done for people in a vulnerable stage of life was evident by the quality of care received.
