ROSEWOOD ASSISTED LIVING

I visit a 101 year-old friend every week at Rosewood in Fort Oglethorpe. From the moment I walk through the lobby door, I am greeted with friendly smiles and a warm-hearted "Welcome to Rosewood". I am always impressed with the quality care that my friend receives from the staff. These workers are sincerely compassionate and very attentive to my friend's needs. Oh, and I must say, I schedule my visits in between the many offered activities that my friend likes to partake in at Rosewood!

My mom (Ms. Pat) has been living at Rosewood since Sept, and she is loving it. I have not seen her this happy in a while. The staff are exceptional, with her top ones, Monica, Dawson, and TJ. They have made her feel extra special and she just lights up when talking about them. She has told me about she feels needed again, and that is something I was afraid she was loosing after moving in. Her friends that she is making there are all she talks about. If you are looking for a safe, comfortable, and loving place for your loved ones, Rosewood is definitely the place for them.

My dad moved to Rosewood in the middle of December 2025. Since living there I have noticed a positive change in his mental and emotional health. He enjoys spending time with his new friends in the dining room and participating in many of the other activities there. The caregivers who take care of him do a great job and always make him feel special. The family has been very pleased with his care and the facilities...highly recommend Rosewood.

Our mom (Betty) joined the rosewood family 12/28/24. A real adjustment for her,. always being in charge of her own home. . The staff welcomed her , always addressing her by name. It is very clean facility and feels like home anywhere you are inside and outside . The courtyards are beautiful. I have eaten several times with her and rosewood always serves a great hot nutrition filled plate.. I can go on and on , it’s just a great peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands. We toured several places to make a decision when Mom decided a change was necessary. I had done a lot of research and had my lists, etc but Mom, after visiting Rosewood, told me she just “knew” that she could be happy here. She was right. Rosewood is very clean and the food is good with a lot of variety. There are a number of daily activities that she enjoys. But the most important aspect of Rosewood is its hard-working, dedicated staff. They have embraced her as if she were family. Her well-being - physically, mentally, socially - are always at the forefront of their interactions with her. And from what I have observed, that same attentive care is the norm for Rosewood residents not the exception. Though she has only been there a relatively short time, Mom feels “at home” and for that I am deeply grateful.
