Rose Senior Living at Providence Park

We have called Rose our home for four months and this has proven to be the perfect place for us. The welcoming environment and friendly staff and our new neighbors made us comfortable from the day we moved in. There are wonderful social opportunities offered by the calendar of activities as well as the gatherings in the excellent dining room, theatre and Pub. The beautiful wooded and landscaped environment provide changing views from the comfort of our private patio. We look forward to watching the seasons change from our new home.

I had signed up for a seminar on aging at Rose and last minute had to bring my mild cognitively declining mom. We asked for a tour after the seminar. We had just started talking about a place for my mom. Rose set the bar high. Our tour guide Laura was outstanding. I loved that she spoke mainly to my mom rather than me. She showed us around and helped envision Rose as a permanent place to live. Laura engaged my mom, got to know her a little. I love how residence doors were individually decorated, the facility smelled of delicious food (it was just after dinner) and a normal apartment place rather than a hospital. It’s was clean, orderly - there’s a pub, salon, plant room/library, indoor and outdoor activities. You can have pets; there’s a dog park/area! Residents looked calm and happy. Asst living and independent wings don’t have a door between them, you simply turn a corner and the two can integrate. Providence hospital is in the backyard essentially. Free transport means my mom could independently visit my step dad if he needed hospital care again. There are a lot of unknowns for my mom right now but I soon hope a known will be Rose.

Had a tour at the Novi location of Rose Senior Living. Was impressed with the nature trails I saw as I drove to the front. The lobby and hallways had a neutral smell. The cafe and dinning room was clean and smelled of food. I really appreciated the apartments felt like an apartment I would live in. Cute kitchen and living room area in the independent living apartments and smaller kitchen in the assisted living apartments. I could see a lot of care was put into the planning of the community.

Rose Senior Living at Providence Park provides such a warm and welcoming environment that I immediately felt at home. The staff clearly care deeply about the residents and go out of their way to be kind and attentive. The community is beautiful, very clean, and the food is consistently excellent. I highly recommend Rose Senior Living at Providence Park.
