Rivaria Vista Grande

My father has been a resident for over 2 years and my family is very happy with the care he is receiving and he is content and safe there. The staff are very communicative and available to address questions or concerns and take good care of him. There is a nurse on site Monday-Friday. The food is great and special activities and gatherings are frequently planned and families are invited to those around holidays and are always welcome anytime. As a retired nurse I am very happy to know my father is safe and well cared for and that the staff will let me know if there are any concerns or questions.

I'm giving a 2 star at this time since there's always room for improvement. I'm expressing my concern regarding the noticeable decline in quality of care being provided. My mom has been in there for quite sometime when it was still Brookdale and mom care in the beginning was not the least best but when Sherry's Team got in Vista Grande it thus far improved the quality of care. About 6 months now before the turn over with the new company the quality of care has been noticeably decline in quality of care While I truly appreciate the improvement made in other department such as[foodservices,activities,housekeeping,maintenance]it is evident that the level of resident care has declined rather than improved. Over the past period of time several issues have become apparent and it's not getting met by standard it's rather just getting done by the obvious and I could still go on. I am sharing this feedback with the intention of helping restore the high standards that residents deserve and that Vista Grande Team has been known for.Thank you for the Staff dedication to resident well-being. I look forward to seeing positive changes.

This is a great facility overall, but the best part is Nathalia Tucker at the Vista Grande Colorado Springs location. It is so clear that she cares about the residents. Anytime we have had a difficulty that couldn't be resolve through other channels, I have reached out to her and she has gotten it taken care of quickly and kindly (even when it wasn't her job). Plus, the place smells like a Yankee Candle store and I'm pretty sure that is her doing!

About a month ago my siblings and I helped our Mom start the process of transitioning from her home of 59 years to A.L. From our first meeting with Nathalia and absolutely everyone on her staff, we have been met with kindness, helpfulness, and genuinely warm-heartedness in all of our interactions. The residents are warm and welcoming as well and look out for each other and new-comers alike! That’s all a reflection of great leadership! Thank you all so much🥰

When my mother fell ill, we had no idea what to do or how we were going to get her the help she needed to heal. Through CarePatrol, we were connected with Vista Grande as a respite care facility for my mom. They took her in with less than 24 hours notice and I'm happy to say after a month, she is doing better than we could have expected. The staff have been friendly, helpful and encouraging. They truly have helped her heal and provided her with the support we are unable to.
