Rittenhouse Village at Michigan City

We’re so at peace that we brought my mother-in-law to the Elms. She was in the memory care unit where she received kind and loving care, encouragement, and support.

I absolutely love how well the Memory Care Director engages with the residents and staff. I have worked/been inside multiple memory care facilities and The Elms of Michigan City has always stood out. They always have different activities that the residents enjoy & as a Michigan City resident myself, I’m glad to see more Alzheimers/Dementia recognition.

The Elms is a wonderful facility and has an outstanding staff. I have complete confidence in their abilities to keep 2 of my family members safe and well taken care of at this time in their lives. Special kudos to the Resident Experience Directors, Sarah and Tracy, as well as Ashley from Select Rehab. Not only are they dedicated professionals, but the unlimited kindness, compassion and care they show for my family cannot go without special recognition. Perhaps the best review I can leave is that if they were to ever leave, The Elms would not be the same.

My mother has lived at The Elms for three years. The facilities and programs in both the assisted living and memory care are exceptional. There is a variety of activities to meet the interests of all residents. She especially enjoys the scenic drives with stops for ice cream. I would highly recommend The Elms to those seeking senior living.

I cannot say enough good things about the Memory Care neighborhood at The Elms. From the director to the care managers and nurses to the cleaning lady, everyone treated my mother with respect, empathy, and affection making for the ideal resident experience for her. As her daughter, I always felt welcome visiting her, and many of the staff I now call friends.
