This place was nice to begin with, but now not so much. My dad lived there for over a year and the decline in services was so disappointing. The gourmet meals shown in their advertising existed only in the first 3 to 4 months, to be replaced with ready made frozen foods. If your elderly family needs anything more than cursory care beware. The turnover is awful and the care is worse. My father deserved better than apathy and excuses. His specialty equipment was damaged, lost, or went missing. We had to involve the state ombudsman to get issues resolved. I don't recommend it at all!

This is not a safe place for your family members. DO NOT USE THEM. Above is a false review by Carol in order to get the deposit back for the month my father died. My father passed away here a 1 year ago and I now have the courage to expose them. My father suffered with dementia and the loss of his wife a few months before entering this assisted care situation. My brother placed him into this facility after I went home to the lower 48. I was with him for 3 months prior and shocked to hear from Lisa C about the sudden changes my father endured here. My father still cooked, took meds, monitored his diabetes tests, showered, dressed himself every day when I was present. I was told about medication changes and Lisa could not tell me who approved it, and antipsychotic medication added to his heart and diabetes meds. Toilet problems so he wore diapers. This change was not good. Other issues like arising from the hygiene to clothes he was wearing concerned me with dignity and lack there of. Since I was not in the state it was very difficult to speak with anyone since no phone calls were answered or messages returned. After his passing Lisa C discussed with me many things of concern. I was them told to speak with owner James Drayton who said “I have to contact a lawyer since there are privacy issues “. I reminded James that Lisa already spoke with me about all sorts of things. Still this facility will not respond or release notes about my fathers care. DO NOT USE THEM PLEASE ( Danny Kelly) I promise to update as needed

Our father John Kelly lived at East View for a few months. During his time at East View he received excellent care. Lisa Catlett (administrator) is a very caring person and the ultimate professional. She collaborated with my husband and I through this arduous process. We interviewed eight other assisted living facilities, and none compared to East View. Their caretaker to resident is 1:5. The homes are brand new with an open floor concept and beautifully decorated. The staff are very approachable and willing to answer or address any concerns. The administrator Lisa notified us immediately with any concerns and/or updates with our dad. We highly recommend East View Assisted Living for your family member. Kevin and Carol Kelly

I recently had the opportunity to visit Eastview Assisted Living Facility in Anchorage Alaska, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the facility and the employees. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff members are incredibly kind, compassionate, and attentive to the needs of the residents. It was evident to me that they genuinely care about the well-being of each person under their care. I would like to give a special mention to Lisa, the manager at Eastview. She is excellent at her job, and her dedication to the facility and its residents is commendable. Her professionalism and leadership skills are exemplary, and it's no wonder that the facility runs so smoothly under her guidance. Overall, I would highly recommend Eastview Assisted Living Facility to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate environment for their loved ones. The facility and its staff members are truly wonderful, and they make a positive difference in the lives of the residents they serve.
