Primrose of Washington

We have found the Primrose Retirement Community to be a great place to call home at this point in our life. We greatly appreciate the quality of the residence, staff, and all of the services. My dad and stepmom enjoy this community, and the care is very good--efficient, professional, warm and friendly. As a family, we're thankful we chose Primrose for this transition to an assisted living facility for our parents.

We carefully researched and toured a number of facilities looking at places our Mom could call home while she’s in need of extra care. Primrose stood out above all others as we searched and toured. Not only is the facility beautiful and welcoming physically, the warmth and uplifting attitudes of Timari, Jaden, and every staff member we encountered reinforced that impression. They have excelled at clear communication and timely responses. When family members showed up unannounced unexpectedly for a tour while we were still deciding, they were treated like VIPs and promptly given a great tour. The other clients we have encountered voluntarily step up and assure us quietly, “You’ve found the best place for your Mom.” All the staff from medical to maintenance are friendly, professional, and skilled. They treat our mother like the treasure she is. Response to her needs is very timely , patient, and thorough. When a responder walks in the door, they enter with a spirit of light and healing, which is very important. Most importantly, Mom is loving it here. She is filled with a spirit of hope.

Last fall we felt like we needed to move into something smaller, but wasn't ready for assisted living. Our daughter wanted us to move closer to her in St. George, Utah. She started looking for retirement communities. She looked at several places in St. George. Found a lot of retirement communities, but they were mostly apartment style homes. When she found Primrose, she called and told us she found the perfect place. When we came to see it, we felt the same way. There's a very lovely building with assisted living apartments and memory care section. Around the perimeter there are individual villas. We thought that would be perfect for us. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a very nice sunroom that we have made into an office of sorts. It has a garage that was important to us. We have alot of autonomy here. But, we also can participate in the activities, which are many and varied, in the main building. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make us feel part of a big family. We know if and when we need to transition into assisted living, it will be an easy transition. We are so grateful our daughter found this facility for us. We have only been here about 4 months, but we have made so many new friends in both the villas and assisted living and the great staff.

Primrose is the perfect size and in a great location. The assisted living apartments are very comfortable with a cozy design. The independent Villas are large with a very nice floor plan. They even have a sun room. The leadership team is AWESOME. They go above and beyond their “job description” to help you where ever they can. LOVE the activities. The nurses and CNAs are a hard working group of care givers. The residents are smart, funny, have served their country in the military and had amazing careers while raising their children. So many new friends. Primrose is family.
