Pointe of North Gables

Horrible place. Food is more than underwhelming, it's a disgrace. It's nothing more than a warehouse for old people waiting to die. The staff is ok but if don't speak fluent Spanish you might not care for it. My stay was after a week at South Miami Hospital. I am leaving on Tuesday, but their sell for me to sign a contract was real hard. The director, Lonnie, was real pissed when I refused to sign a contract with them.

If you need immediate and long term assistance for your loved one look no further! I cannot express my gratitude to Maibel and the rest of the administration who helped me and my family through a difficult time. They put themselves in our shoes and gave us constant support! I visited the facility and it was clean and open. The layout provides a sense of independence for the patients and it is a safe location for your loved ones. Highly recommend and thank you to the staff for everything that you did for us!

The Pointe at North Gables has been a life saver for our family. Grandma Vera is very well taken care of and feels at home. Lonnie, Maybel and the entire team at The Pointe do a wonderful job of caring for their residents, and provide them with great activities and have a beautiful location. I highly recommend The Pointe to any family who is seeking an assisted living.

There's no doubt in my mind that my mother is receiving the BEST care possible. Lonnie, and his extraordinarily caring staff do their best daily to help our loved ones feel comfortable. Having once been a hotel, The Pointe's residents can't help but be greeted by natural light the second they open their doors. Thanks to The Pointe, I can enjoy some peace of mind knowing my mom is in the best of hands! And during these trying times, isn't peace of mind priceless?

My experience at The Pointe was memorable. Came here with my dad to look at options for him and we loved that it doesn’t look like your typical assisted living home. We felt like we were in a nice hotel in the middle of Miami. The staff is great and very caring to all of the it’s residents. Can truly see the amount of dedication they put in to them. We also noticed some beautiful new renovations done to the property and rooms. We are dedinetly keeping it on the top of our list to consider. Thank you to all the great staff and management for the great tour around the property.
