Pecan Point Assisted Living and Memory Care Community

My mother had to move due to finances and Pecan Point stepped up and helped us out so much when the other place messed up and she had nowhere to go. They went above and beyond to help us out. Everyone has always been super nice and we enjoyed having my mother there. Unfortunately, she had to move, but we appreciate everything that Pecan Point did for her. Highly recommend them.

I am from Arkansas and have been living in Texas for 3 yrs. My husbands job brought us to Texas. My mother lives alone in Arkansas 20 min from all family and the few friends that are still living. She recently decided she needed assisted living. I say all of that to say this. This new chapter for my mother will not be easy but however soon we can get her to Texas A Place For Mom has been helpful and put us in touch with Pecan Point. Facilities in Arkansas need to come here to learn how assisted living should be environmentally, care wise, etc. This facility is the cleanest facility I’ve ever seen (I am a disabled nurse) and I mean even cleaner than most hospitals. And does not smell funky either. There is pride in the care of the facility that emits throughout. Every employee we had the pleasure of encountering greeted us with a warm, friendly smile. And all of the residents we had the pleasure of meeting had smiles on their faces and were so kind allowing us to see their rooms. We enjoyed meeting each one. We hope we have the opportunity to move my mother in sooner than later. After visiting it makes sense why there is a long waitlist.

I visited Pecan Point for my sister, who has Alzheimer’s disease. From the moment I walked in the front door I could feel the warmness and pleasant atmosphere from the staff and residents. The residents were engaged and it had a homey environment. I learned so much about Alzheimer’s disease with my visit with Susie, who is their marketer and also a certified Dementia Practitioner. The Director, Andrea, was also warm and engaging. They answered all of my questions. If you are looking for Assisted Living, this is the place you want your loved one to be!

A dear friend of mine is a resident at Pecan Point, and she is so well cared for and loved by everyone who works there, in all areas of care. Staff is THE BEST I’ve ever encountered in an assisted living facility, food is great and nutritional — and their personal attention, dedication to social connections, and daily and special activities are exceptional! Thanks to everyone for caring, and for providing such excellent care!
