Peachtree Village of Farmington, LLC

We placed our good friend, Bill, there at age 91, and he's been there two years. The basics are there and the staff are friendly. It's a homey, cozy place with good meals and it's clean. The recreation program is pretty simple: Bible study, crafts, and trips to the store, along with holiday parties and one common TV, a pool table and games. Medicines are given out and there is van transportation to appointments. If you need a little help, there is usually someone who can get to it soon, but sometimes staff are too busy to answer the phone. There is vacuuming, trash pickup, and help with your laundry if you need it. Sometimes staff that are not in charge of the residents answer the phone who are not "people people". The Director and Assistant Director are experienced at what they are doing. Some people seem lonely there, so I think there is more need for discussion groups, sing-alongs, ways to involve family members, and other social interaction. The living room used to have a couch where folks could sit together and talk, but that went away. The chairs outside are not comfortable for old people: they are hard and have no arms to push up with. You should get a key so you can help your loved one keep things locked when they have to have a hospital stay, though theft is not a problem there. Dina and Jeff

I called in to ask a few questions, and was greeted by a very unkind and unprofessional man. I would have to assume a broody teenager, if anything. He was extremely rude to me and sounded as if he had better things to do than speak to me. I wouldn’t expect him to be overjoyed, but at least have some respect. Horrid hire. Do better, Peachtree 👎

The staff at Peachtree is amazing! Everyone from the Director to the Maintenance people treat the residents like family! I cannot brag on them enough!
