Think twice before placing anyone you care about at Peachtree. They promised they could address and deal with any issues my Grandma had including her lack of incontinence which we explained in great detail and held nothing back because we had concerns about placing her at Peachtree due to this issue (we have this recorded on a video call, among many other concerns we addressed). After trying to hold them accountable for the lack of incontinence care because she has had 3 UTI infections in less than 2 months I was banned from the facility and the reason given was I was upsetting other residents. However I had little to no interaction with other residents. I also made the director aware that she had consumed a beverage with alcohol at their Christmas party because I had to leave (I was not aware at the time that the beverage had alcohol) and also explained that she was not allowed to have alcohol per her doctor and her meds she was on and I wanted to make her aware. The director just laughed and said well maybe she will sleep better. There is a reason they charge only an $800 move in when all other facilities charge $3000 or more. You get what you pay for. They also choose what paperwork they want to file including doctors orders they refuse to follow and this could be why they have passed the state inspections.

I can’t say enough about Peachtree in Holiday Island and the staff! My parents were in an accident. Mom got a badly broken arm. I live in va and they live in ar. I came out immediately. We decided after 2 weeks they needed more help! She’s 88, and he’s 92. A friend recommended Peachtree! I immediately made a visit and got literature! I was impressed the minute I walked through the door. Very friendly staff, very attractive facility and smells very pleasant. All safety precautions were being observed. They do respite care which has been a life saver. I admitted them under respite but hoping they will stay. Due to restrictions being lifted I was able to eat lunch today. It was delicious. They have a wonderful apartment. The staff are so nice and so friendly. I highly recommend this place. They have been a Godspeed for me!

I am writing to praise your staff at the Holiday Island center. Every encounter I have had with Stephen and Kendra has been heartwarming, informative, pleasant and compassionate. We will be moving my father in law next week and I couldn’t be more excited for him. I feel like a mom dropping off her kindergartner for the first day of school. I had the opportunity to visit his apartment a few weeks ago and the tour was guided by Kendra. She was professional and knowledgeable while being warm and friendly. After we left, we all felt like we made a new friend. It is hard for someone to lose his wife of 70 years, sell his home and start over at 91. Kendra’s excitement and enthusiasm helped to make the transition easier for my father in law and all of us as well. She is a great cheerleader for Peachtree and worth her weight in gold. I have spoke to Stephen so many times and have had so many questions. He has always made me feel like he had all the time in the world to spend with us, even though I know he is very busy. He runs his assistance living home with love, you can feel it ever time you talk with him. You can tell he loves what he does and he loves his staff and residents. Having been in management for 40 years, I know how hard it is to efficiently and effectively accomplish this so I really appreciate and recognize his passion. I am sure he is praised and appreciated because he makes your job easier, but more important, he makes the families jobs easier by instilling the trust in his care for their loved one when they move in. Thank you for allowing me to express my gratitude for these fine staff members.
