PARSONS HOUSE AUSTIN

I am extremely pleased with this facility's accommodations for my stubborn, messy, and extremely (mentally and physically) frail uncle. The attentive staff effectively managed his complex medicinal regimen, attended to numerous health issues, regularly tidied his living space and bathroom, and fed him well. We've cycled him through various care facilities in the past, and this is the only place where he's been happy, as Parsons strikes the right balance between providing oversight and autonomy for him. The price is reasonable compared to comparable facilities.

Parsons House Austin will always have a special place in my heart. When my mother was no longer able to live alone, she moved into an apartment at Parsons House. She lived there for five years until her death. Mother was comfortable and cared for; and that was important because I live in the U.S. Virgin Islands. During the time she resided there, I visited at least 3 times a year and recovered from two major surgeries in an apartment close to hers. Parson’s House became my home away from home - and still is to this day. It is without reservation that I recommend Parsons House at this time. From the housekeeping staff to the management, they will care for and cherish your loved ones.

Parsons House is an amazing organization focused on their residents, with helpful and kind staff, excellent leadership and an array of services in support of the residents. From the first interaction to move in our family felt tremendous support and care. I wish there were 20 stars I could give this needed and valued organization.

I am so happy to have found Parsons House and with my decision to move my mother there a few weeks ago. I was uncertain if assisted living would be suitable, so the staff worked with me on a transition plan that turned out to be a very positive experience for both my mother and myself! All of the staff, especially Domingo, Elizabeth and Kellie, and caregivers truly care about their residents and families and, while making this move was a difficult decision, I feel very supported by everyone at Parsons House!

I have been keeping my eye on Parson's House for a couple years as an option for my mother to age in place. I finally relocated my mom to this facility as she could no longer reside in independent living and could benefit from the assisted living services at Parsons while on hospice. We have only been there a couple days but first impressions have been amazing. It is obvious why the staff has little turnover. The caring and attention to the small details made me feel that I made the right choice. Rhonda, Sarah, and the rest of the team that I have met so far have all been compassionate and very caring for my families needs. I only wish I would have moved my mom here a little sooner.
