My sister has had the worst care ever!! She had to wait from Saturday until Tuesday before she received any medication. In the meantime she suffered. Is this an accredited facility??????
Response from the owner
Marti, we would like to look into this situation more, there should be no delay in medications. If you could give us a call we would welcome a conversation about what occurred and look for ways to improve our process or communication.

My experience was wonderful at Parmly! They have a wonderful program to keep their clients happy! They have church services,Bingo games & many other type programs! They also come ,& remind people so you don't miss any?activities,! They also have a wonderful PT & OT program to help rehabilitate clients,! They also have a good food program,! I highly recommend Parmly fot a rehab facility! If necessary I would go there again!

Linda, we are sorry we did not live up to our goal of exceeding the expectations of everyone that has an experience with us. Our leadership would love to talk to you about this and see if we can find ways to improve or make it right. Please reach out to our leadership at the building if you are interested.

They are understaffed, and bring in help that don't know the patients, so those patients that can't communicate verbally sometimes are ignored by them. The regular staff are very good. The facility is mostly clean. I have to say I am unhappy with the amount of attention he gets. They are supposed to do range of motion exercises at least once a day, but he seldom has them done at all. I am there a lot and have seen them done only twice. I have brought this up many times. My brother had a stroke and can't move his right side at all. He also can't speak much. I also agree it can take a very long time to get the light answered.

My dad went into Parmenly to recover after finishing Chemo. The place was nothing like the pictures. When I was on the phone I heard a satff member telling him, "stop ringing the bell, your not the only one here." 5 days into his stay they told us to" come get him." He had obviously had a sever medical issue, as when we got there he was immobile and in a vegetative state. We told him there was no way we could transport him so they paid to have him sent in an ambulance. He died a few days later. I'm glad people are seeing this! Don't think that when you drop your parents off they will be well cared for. Don't think that when something goes wrong the state will support you.

Jack we are so sorry to hear about your father. We are also sorry your experience with us left this impression with you, this doesn't sound like the experience we expect our residents or their families to have. Our Administrator would love to discuss with you if you would be willing. Reach out to her through the main number.
