Parker Place Retirement

After touring six different facilities it was clear that Parker Place was the best place for my mother's move even if she wasn't quite in favor. Erin Cammie and Dean were compassionate and caring during the admissions process. I know six months later I made a good decision. Of course no one wants to reach this day but I am every confidence she is well cared for. God's will was best for us no doubt.

Our Mom has been a resident at Parker Place for over five years now and has thrived during this time. She has met many new friends there that have provided a community she would not not have had if she had stayed alone in her house. She receives the expected care and services on schedule that would have been difficult to provide otherwise, and her medical status is monitored routinely by the round-the-clock staff presence. Our family feels blessed to have this resource in the very town where Mom and our family grew up. We would recommend Parker Place to others considering an assisted living facility for family members.

Under the new leadership of Director Erin Goode, Parker Place is running like a well oiled machine. The care of the residents has become her first and foremost priority. Initiating new activities for residents in Memory Care and taking the time to address any concerns of the residents… has made me very confident in the care of my loved one who suffers from dementia. I would also like to commend Nurse Cammie and the Resident Assistants for their part in making safety and comfort a priority. Also…Activities Director Kendyl should be commended for her genuine love and interest in everyone who resides at Parker Place.

The staff has made my moms move so helpful and they are very supportive when we have issues and help me work through issues. They have been wonderful. They had a family bbq which was very nice for my mom who is in memory care, since she’s not able to go out and about this was great. I have no complaints from nursing to director everyone is great. Rooms are very nice as well

So helpful. They are wonderful to work with. I think my husband is going to be in excellent hands and very happy there.
