It's wonderful here! I only come here for therapy and care!

I love it there and how they treat the patients

I really enjoy being here, they are working with me great in therapy. The employees are very caring. I feel I made the right choice coming here!

Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM! No air and talking to many staff the building is old and have a boiler furnace and it’s been worked on for last few years so my love one was left with just a fan in room. They did have portable air conditioners in the hallways which did not help due to him being in end room unit with 3 window (Room 105)! He was transferred there and only spent 6 days (which was 80• or higher) and had to be transported back to hospital due to extreme dehydration and exhaustion and throwing up due to the staff not cooling off the room and allowing him to lay back while on feeding tube! I spoke with administrator on the day he went back to ER and advised her of how we felt as family and the concerns so this review will NOT surprise them! I have worked at one of the main insurance companies for over 25 years and know what they charge daily and this place definitely should be in better condition. The basement smells like mildew apparently there was a flood previously and they have failed to properly clean it and black mold appeared on the walls! There was also bugs lined the hallway one his second day and they closed his door with no monitor attached (pic attached) This building is old, outdated, lack of staff and definitely not for ANYONE that CANNOT ADVOCATE FOR THEMSELVES! My opinion as much as is cost per person to stay in this dump, the owner needs to SHUT THIS BUILDING DOWN, install central are renovate the rooms and hire more experienced staffers!

I want to start by recognizing the people who made a difference during an incredibly difficult time. The Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy teams were exceptional. They were compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my loved one's recovery. Special recognition goes to Ros and Amil, who were absolute blessings during our stay. Agnes, Erica, Derrick, Cooley, Chelsea, and one RN on the first floor whose name I unfortunately cannot remember also provided excellent care and communication. Unfortunately, the quality of care outside of therapy was deeply concerning. Perhaps the most troubling part of our experience was watching my loved one ultimately require hospitalization for severe dehydration. Patients recovering from complex neurological injuries depend on skilled staff to monitor hydration, nutrition, vital signs, and overall medical status. This hospitalization reinforced many of the concerns I had throughout our stay regarding nursing oversight, staffing levels, communication, and the facility's ability to manage medically complex patients. This facility appears best suited for residents who can advocate for themselves or who have family members present frequently. If your loved one cannot speak for themselves and does not have someone present regularly, I would encourage you to carefully consider whether this is the right environment for their needs. The CNA staff generally worked hard but appeared severely understaffed. I was told that because I was present so often, I should use the call button if my loved one needed something. Family presence should never replace routine patient monitoring and care. The physical condition of the building was also concerning. The facility experienced air conditioning issues during hot weather. When I brought fans to help keep my loved one comfortable, they were later unplugged because staff stated they were blowing electrical fuses. The building feels outdated, the rehabilitation equipment appears decades old, and the rooms need significant updating. The most modern item in the room was the television. There were also environmental concerns, including swarms of insects near patient rooms and chemical spraying around doors and windows while patients remained nearby. Most importantly, patients recovering from serious neurological injuries require specialized equipment, skilled nursing, adequate staffing, and a safe environment. While the therapy team worked tirelessly to help patients improve, the rest of the facility failed to meet that same standard. The therapists and a handful of dedicated staff members are the reason this review is not lower. They deserve recognition for the incredible work they do despite the challenges they face.
