Excellent care facility. Amazing staff, and Mom's been in their facilities for years. A small group home so they have time to really care for the residents and can even adjust meals or snacks to include items they prefer to eat or that being an extra touch of joy their day...

My husband of 50 years has joined the friends at OldMetairie Gardens 2. I had looked for a place for him when I was told that after five years at home, he required care that I could not give him.. This was the hardest thing I have done in my life. I looked at some larger facilities and decided that he would be lost if he was shut in his own little apartment. Dave is a people person and loves to be around others. I never imagined a place like this existed. I visit every day and even bring our little Yorky to visit all of the residents. The staff, nurses who give meds and residents are our new family. Our grandkids are welcome to visit and have been there to play games and perform music at Christmas time. This home has literally saved me. I am thankful every single day for Peristyle.There is absolutely nothing else like it. This is home and its employees are my true blessing.
