Oakmont of Valencia

November 24, 2024. I truly recommend to visit your love one on regular basis. Most of all do unannounced visits. You might get an immediate feeling of disbelief and disappointment of what you will find. As we entered the room we noticed mom’s radio wasn’t on playing the usual songs of praise and worship, it was really quiet , dark (lights off and blinds down), cold with a very strong smell of urine. My husband was about to have a seat on a urine soaked cushion left on a wheelchair. I had already sat on a forgotten pair of wet pants left on a chair. I was so upset of such a negligence that I engaged in an angry conversation with one of the careless, I mean caregivers of this understaffed facility. Jake took matters into his hands right away. I left the premises feeling bad for mom and also for Jake.

Ok so first I need to highlight the leadership of the community! The beating heart of what this is one of my favorite communities. As a leader I know how important it is to have support and leadership that are passionate about serving others. The culture and environment that Mila ED, Rose Memory Care Director, Jeevon Health services director, and Clyde resident care coordinator have created here is unparalleled and you can feel it as soon as you walk in. The community is filled with joy, love, and community. If you or a loved one is considering an assisted-living I highly recommend you come check this place out. Stop by and see Jason or Meagan, that are the best in the industry.

Oakmont of Valencia is a very beautiful place to be staff there is great friendly community. Definitely would recommend .

From the moment I called the facility for inquiries where I was able to talk to their coordinator Clyde Recio I knew Oakmont was the perfect place for my mom. I did a research of so many facilities and each has its own flaw but the sincerity right at the onset is what made the difference. Letty is a sweetheart and treats mom like family. Even their HSD Jeevan is so approachable and there were no issues that was left unresolved. You can tell their team took a lot of effort from the chef down to the activities manager to give the best life that their residents deserve.
