Oakmont of Orange

My Mom spent her last year before passing here and my Dad continued living here 1 ½ years after Mom’s passing until he passed late last month. Best decision that my sister and I could have guided them to was their move to Oakmont of Orange. This is a high-end assisted living facility with a full array of activities and services that allowed Mom & Dad to fully enjoy their lives. Dad went to the gym daily to ride the exercise bike, Mom had her weekly appointments at the hair salon and together they loved attending the weekly musical entertainment events in the lobby. Dad would tell me that eating in the dining room was like eating in a 5-star restaurant for every meal. Dad especially enjoyed the hot soup provided with most meals and he always would go for dessert. Dad liked to check the daily movie schedule and he enjoyed many fun movies in the movie theatre down the hall. With the COVID lockdown, we were pleased to see the diligence that Oakmont management applied to their COVID protocols and their communication with residents and their families was excellent. Management procured vaccines as soon as they were available and scheduled vaccinations for all residents and staff on site. The staff is caring and provided top notch and very personal service to Mom and Dad. Dad would often tell me: “These Oakmont caregivers take care of me so well!”

Our father has been at Oakmont of Orange since October of 2020. Due to Covid, it was not your normal transition, but they made it as easy as it could be. They have taken excellent care of Ken, even under difficult recovery circumstances. The staff is always friendly, courteous and caring. Special thanks to Anna fir always being responsive. Without them and the beautiful, safe facility, I don’t know what we would do.

Oakmont is a beautiful assisted living community! The caregivers are very considerate and helpful, and they are willing to go out of their way when it is needed. It is a very clean facility and the food is absolutely fantastic! Our three family members, who are residents there, get the greatest of care, and we are so grateful to have found Oakmont of Orange!

Kudos to Rocio, the med techs, caregivers, house keeping, maintenance, chefs, and leadership. Your team rocks.
