We had our mom stay at Oak Park Place and had nothing but problems since she was admitted. They have a high level of turn over with staff, which led to us explaining mom's condition every day to new staff. Mom was in their skill care facility and we were told we would have to either stay with mom during the day or hire a caregiver to make sure mom received the care which was promised when agreed to admit her. We ended up moving her because we didn't feel she was safe there, found a facility that she was happy and had the care that she needed.

The people at Oak Park Place are wonderful. They are friendly and very helpful . The facility is very clean and well maintained. The food is very good. My wife experienced a very nice rehab after falling and breaking her hip. I would recommend OPP to everyone.

With gratitude I leave this review. My loved one has spent four months at Oak Park Place Nakoma since a partial hip replacement and has made significant gains week by week. The staff are the stars of our healing journey. PT/OT Jessica/Ashley worked tirelessly to bring about strength and mobility. Their knowledge and attitudes made a huge difference in the day to day. The RNs and med passers kept an eye on medical things. The minute by minute shining stars have been all the CNAs (naming just a few who helped this week Safari, Eboni, Chimere, Eulalia, Carla. The night crew that Dad said "does a fine job"!). The love and care they give on the daily allowed me to leave knowing Dad was not alone. Top. Notch. One and all! Special thanks to Josh, the administrator, who constantly asks how he can help and actually does. And Joanne at the front desk who always makes the days brighter by her welcoming smile and helpful attitude. Oh! And Dad likes the food! And Ah-Key does a thorough job keeping everything clean and fresh. There is just something special about OPPN.

Oak Park Place - Nakoma is generously offering its beautiful facility on Sunday mornings for our congregation from Prairie Unitarian Universalist Society to meet most weeks. We have been gathering there most Sundays since August 2019 and we will continue to through the late Spring as our building's remodeling finishes up. Oak Park Place is a new building near the Beltline and Midvale BVLD. It offers senior living services and one of our members currently enjoys living there. In the photo, our congregation is conducting a business meeting in Oak Park Place's beautiful Orpheum.
